Criminal Differentiated Case Management Plan Education Session

Under the leadership of Administrative Judge Angela M. Eaves, the Circuit Court for Harford County has drafted a new Criminal Differentiated Case Management Plan (DCM-Cr) in order to improve the scheduling and management of criminal cases in the Circuit Court. The DCM-Cr Plan Improves the use of pre-trial settlement conferences, provides advance planning for trial events, expands the number of jury trial dates available each week, and consolidates post-verdict hearings on dedicated dockets. The goal is the fair and efficient use of the Circuit Court’s resources in the resolution of criminal cases.
The use of the new forms and procedures necessary to implement the DCM-Cr Plan will begin in December 2019.  The plan will be fully in effect the first week of April 2020.
In preparation for the implementation of the DCM-Cr Plan, on the dates below, Judge Eaves and Judge Bowen will conduct two educational sessions for the attorneys who appear in criminal cases in the Circuit Court for Harford County.  The two sessions will contain the same content and will take place in the Ceremonial Courtroom. Two dates are offered to make it easier for interested attorneys to attend one of the sessions.
