Appellate Law Program

The MSBA is announcing an exciting appellate law program to be held at the Court of Appeals on April 18. Please attend what will prove to be a fantastic event.

 

Effective Appellate Advocacy for Family Law Cases – Join an experienced panel for an evening of networking, dialogue, and presentations on the essential skills, strategies, and pitfalls of litigating family law cases in Maryland’s appellate courts.  The program will include tips on writing persuasive briefs and delivering crisp and effective oral arguments.  The speakers will also discuss why effective appellate advocacy starts in the trial court.  This program is for everyone whose family law practice involves matters that could end up before an appellate court.

 

Details:  April 18, 2017, 5:00-6:00 p.m. reception (cash bar – beer and wine), 6:00-8:00 p.m. program; Court of Appeals courtroom and foyer, 361 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis, MD 21401; charge: $20.00 for MSBA Litigation Section or Family and Juvenile Law Section Members, $35.00 for others.  Registration through the MSBA to open shortly.
