The New Website has Arrived!
Dear Members,
On behalf of the Harford County Bar Association President, the Honorable Yolanda L. Curtin, and with a huge thank you to our Technology Committee Co-Chairs Judge Susan H. Hazlett and Robert McCord, and with a very special thank you to Denise Williams, District Court Law Clerk, and finally a heartfelt thank you to our Executive Council which made this upgrade possible, I have the exciting privilege to introduce to you our new website!
Please take a few moments over the next few days to visit our site, and make it your homepage! While we tried to include everything the former site contained, including links to the Circuit Court Daily Docket, Judiciary Case Search, our Committee Lists, Member Directory and By-Laws, we have added direct access to regional CLE information, made donating to the Harford County Bar Foundation one click away, added a place just for Members’ News, modernized the calendar, adapted the site for viewing on mobile telephones, and made paying dues easier than ever!
Please note that with the new site comes a completely new login protocol. Your current Member ID and that 987…Password are gone! To sign in, simply type in the email address you previously provided to us, and then select reset password and follow the instructions to pick your own password. You will now have the ease and convenience of managing your own password. Once logged in, you will be able to see in your “Profile” your contact information and make any updates. You will also see if you have forgotten to pay your dues, and with Stripe payment processing, you will find the current online process even more smooth, simple, and secure.
Also, if you regularly use the site, when you attempt to view it for the first time, you may need to refresh your browser as browsers attempt to cache the previous websites to expedite load time. This is especially true for Microsoft Explorer users. Please note that the site does look better on Google Chrome than Explorer!
We sincerely hope that you visit the site often, and contribute to its contents by sharing with me your legal news or your committee’s good work, which I will then post on the website to share with the entire membership. Your membership is important to us, and we hope that this new website will prove beneficial to you throughout your day.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
